Install on them is pretty simple as long as you are comfortable soldering to a circuit board.  Id recommend a nice pencil style soldering station as you wont be able to use a trigger style "gun" soldering on on that circuit board.  The idatalink modules take care of all the necessary commands inside the WIN (wireless igntion node) and also does door locks/power rear liftgate.   They do NOT do power sliders yet, but when I called technical they said that was coming in the very near future.   It takes care of the resistance for the MUX parking light circuit and also picks up brake over the bus.

Ok, what is different with the 08 Chrysler key? We have been using 556cw's on Chrysler stuff, will it still work?

the 556cw will work for the actual transponder bypass, but the door locks, trunk, etc are fully bussed without a module there is virtually no way to control them (you could run wires to all the doors and 5 wire the door locks but this wouldnt control the alarm)

alrite... so lemme get this straight... u are telling me that the universal transponder bypasses will still work... but only bypass the key... and that an installer would have to wire up and intricate series of relays diodes and all kinds of other doodie to do the job of this one piece.... alrite... sounds like me and my owner gotta have a talk.... i am tired of telling these customers to wait.. if there is a part already out there... we need to stock it... thanks a million man......

xk (<) idatalink this car are not your typical rs cars. this cars are basically run tru a data not having the right knowledge can cause you hole in your pocket i've done it both ways and trust me idatalink will save you time xk01 in the other hand is good however if you go with and xk 01 takes more time in the install and more wires to run.
