I just bought a 1995 Grand Cherokee with a Avistart 3100.  It just clicks once when either button in pushed, and nothing happens (lock, unlock, start, etc....).  If anyone has an install manual that would be awsome,so I can get it up and working.

Thanks

Took lower dash off last night, found bad 12v constant connection @ main harness, was just twisted together, not soldered, and  was pulled apart just barely making contact.  I took all connections apart and soldered all of then.

Park lights and locks were not connected at all.  Just start function.

Also only has two button remote,lock/unlock and a Timer button,  Have to hold both buttons to R/S.

All work good now.

Thanks Twelvoltz for the info.

This is my first forum. Please forgive any breach of eittiqute. I am on a ranch 1200 acre ranch 3hours from town.My dad was a mechanic and always said just because I was a girl was no excuse for not knowing my cars. I know the basics. I was changing the brake switchs on the master cylinder of my 1991 vanagon. Now it won't turn over. There is a  I belive an after market anti-thief system.Small blk switch under dash. Light on the panel always stayed lite. It never worked. Now the light is flashing. I was going to trace the wires to see if I can find a modular then on to the coil and starter. I can't see how to get the bottom of the dash board off to continue the search. Any help woud be appreciated.
