Hey guys. I'm installing a 529T in my 02 Acura TL and the sunroof closes then vents up. So I am installing a 452T pulse module and relay the 529T specified for this situation. However I can't find the limit switch wire. Does anybody know where to find it on this vehicle? I've searched all the wires in the A-pillar and sunroof switch. I'm hoping I don't have to pull down the headliner. Thanks for any help!

I will double check the roof in my Honda today. It has been a while since I opened the roof. But if memory serves me correct, there is an open and close on the switch, close all the way and it vents, open all the way and it opens. While closing, it pauses at closed then it vents. If this is the case, I don't think there is a limit switch when it reaches closed. The only limit switches are at vented fully and open fully. Like I said it has been a while since I opened the roof in my car. If the switch has a provision to vent, open and close then there should be a wire that you can use. But chances are you will have to remove the headliner to get to it. If it has just open and close, and vented is at the end of the close cycle, chances are it will not have a suitable wire for you. I will check mine today and get back to you if I have any more info for you.

It does have a seperate button for venting at the switch.  I tried to use this wire as a trigger (yellow/red) and it didn't work.

Did you try using the above mentioned wire with the ignition on.  If it works with the key on, you will have to make the alarm supply 12 volts to the sunroof fuse.  This will be an easy task, it will require a blown fuse a relay and 2 fuse holders and fuses.  Let me know if it works with the key on.
