Need a picture of how a shock sensor wrapped around a steering column would look like. I have no clue.

I already disabled the mounted shock sensor. But the alarm still responds to loud ass bass, passing motocyles, or anything that emits extreme vibration like a old truck passing by slowly [you know the ones]. Most times I get the 3 warn honks, other times straight up alarm going off. Can't delete the shock sensor from the alarm cycle b/c the transmitter is sticky and failing, so am going for the straight kill on the shock sensor.

Look for a clear plastic box the size of an ice cube if u want u can turn down the sensitivity on it with a small screw driver

Thanks! Typically is it installed so far up I have to remove the dash? Or should it be in plain sight?

Ok, had to take off the dash and there was a black ice cube shaped box staring me in the face. It was zip tied to a bundle of wires. I think I saw a hole on it but the positioning of the product was too hard to adjust w/ a screwdriver w/o cutting the tie. Since I didn't want to have a loose item in the dash, I just unplugged the twisted red & black wire connected to it.

Went away to test. But it seems the alarm goes off about an hour after armed everytime. I wonder how did doing that harmless thing cause that?

I wish I could edit this into my last post, guess these forums don't allow that.

The black box on the top right corner is what I have, if you look close you can barely see a circle opening on the top left of it [so I'm pretty sure this is the 2nd shock sensor]:

What is this sensor even used for? When somebody turns the wheel it goes off or what? Seems like the dumbest sensor I've ever seen. Better off getting starter kill.
