I Have installed a RS-622 into a 2005 Silverado using a XPRESSVIP bypass. Install went well. Unit starts vehicle and Locks/unlocks doors. The only problem is that when the key is in ignition and the vehcle is in gear the remote start unit is clicking and sending a " Vehicle running" status to the LCD remote. If you hit the brake it shuts off and then goes thruogh the start up sequence again. What wire don't I have hooked up and where do I hookit up too?? THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP.

You may want to double check your wiring, It almost sounds like you have the break pedal shutdown wire with the remote start input wire reversed...

No definitely not thebrakeswitch shut down.  The remote start functions properly until I put it in gear. As soon as i put the vehicle in gear the key fob starts the chirps as if it was to start then chirps to let me know the vehicle is running?? If I hit the brake switch the remote start shuts down and after I let off the brake pedal will go through the same same sequence.

Looking over the install manual I see there is a pink wire for sensor bypass 20 sec. Says some vehicles may require a timed pulsed output or keysense wire. The wiring diagram for 2005 Silverado says N/A. Does this vehicle have a keysense wire and should this pink wire be hooked up to it???

Found the problem. It was in the initial programming. the pulse for the factory alarm was set to .1 (for aftermarket alarm ) and should have been set to 3
