About two years ago I got my 562t valet installed in my car. I absolutely loved it. about a year ago the door locked stopped working, okay I can deal with that, just lock it when I get out of the car.
Then about 2 months ago the the whole system stopped working. doodie, that sucks. So I finally got around to it and took apart my dash and found a bad fuse and fuse holder. I replaced it and boom the car starts. So I figured, hey what the heck might as well look at the locks. So I take the box out and noticed the antenna wires are not attached to the plug anymore. So after searching I found a plug that would work and reattched. Now nothing works. I plug in all the wires to the box and the alarm starts going off on my car. I have tried turning the alarm off with the factory keypad....nothing, I have tried the valet keypad....no response at all, I have tried letting the alarm go through its cycle.....didn't do anything, I have tried disconnecting the antenna as well as wiring in different orders....nothing, The only way to get the alarm to turn off is to unplug the main harness from the valet box. Does anybody have any suggestions as to where to start?.

ok, so the "alarm" goes off? are you talking about the factory alarm?
try using your key and "unlocking" your car from the driver door. that should disarm the oem alarm.
Anytime a DEI remote start unit loses power you are going to have to re-learn the tach signal.
If you got it installed at a place like Best Buy or Circuit City, just swing by and have them look at it for you. Most places have some sort of warranty on their installs. Just have them check it out when you get around to it.
As far as the door locks not working, that could be something as simple as a fuse or broken resister

I am pretty sure that the alarm that is going off is being caused by the valet, as soon as I unplug the valet box the alarm turns off.
I got it installed at a private shop that no longer exists. I know great.
Do you know how I relearn the tach signal?
Thanks for the help.

you find the valet/program buton (I would have installed it somewhere near the fuse box). It's basically just a black plunger button with grey and grey/black wires coming off it. start the car with the key and after it starts you push and hold the button. your led will light and stay on for a few seconds. this is assuming the installer wired the unit to the tach signal. If not you will probably have to reset the unit to voltage sense.
