I hooked up a remote start in my 1994 Grand Cherokee and everything works fine except after i remote start it and then i put the key in the run position the remote start does not recognise the key and will still die out if i hit the brake it make me turn off the remote starter manually by pressing the star button twice(same way as turning it on) even though the key is in the on possition if anyone has any info that can help me it would be greatly appreciated

you might have split an ignition through an anti-grind circuit. Make sure your connections are correct.
------------- The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

Any chance you're not turning the key far enough forward?

If i only have one ignition in my car, i dont need to use ig2 right? and if i dont use ignition 2 do i need to use the red and white 12v connection? and if i use the red and white 12v and do not have ig2 hooked up will it cause a problem?

if it requires two ignitions that might be the issue but you are having problem with key take over, not starting vehicle. You can always just hook it up and see what happens.
