I have a 2004 Intrepid. The key fobs are dead. The dealer said they are good .He wants to send the computer out for repair. The cost is 3 days down and $750.00 dollars. Is there anything I can check do or try to remedy this problem? The only features the car has are lock, unlock , trunk open, and panic .None of them are working. I don't want to get hijacked . Has anyone heard of this ? Thanks,

go out and buy yourself an aftermarket keyless entry system....... or better still.. u could probably add a full blown security/remote start/ and keyless entry system top of the line for around 400 or better... tell that dude u need to look around first....

I have a 98 dodge intrepid es, and i added a Clifford Arrow 3 w/intellistart for 100.00.Like Skee said,i would just go to a good installation shop in your area and purchase an aftermarket unit installed for less and be happy. To pay 750.00 for a factory keyless system is a huge ripoff, when you can get a 2way remote start/alarm system for less that does way more..
