K I tried looking everywhere but did not find my answer so here it is, first of all, whats the difference between a 1way and 2way remote starter? Second one is that Im going to install it on a 99 4runner and dont want to spend too much on it... I found some 4 like 80 bucks, which is nice, and then there are some 4 like 400.... I just want it to be practical... Thanks...

1 way means you push button on transmitter to lock/unlock and receiver gets signal and then does what it is supposed to do, if it is within reception range.
A 2 way means the same as a 1 way but it will also transmit a signal back to the transmitter indicating it received command and the command was carried out, if it is within operating range that is.

If it is a combo unit I would at least buy a reliable unit in the $200 range if your doing it yourself. If your going to have it put in at least plan on $300 - $400 completely installed.

The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya
