is it better to install theFailsafe Starter Kill feature that comes with the viper 5900 or not?

does anti-grind only work if Failsafe Starter Kill is installed?

I'm not sure what you mean...the manual I'm looking at for the 5900 says that the starter kill is built in to the XCRS relay pack. Do you have a separate relay with yours?

Anti-grind should work with the relay pack alone provided that it's set to on in the feature programming, and the starter wire is cut and connected properly to the relay pack.
