was going to install avital 4200 in this veh. has auto trans cummins and a black keyhead. can i just put the remote start in or do i need to bypas anything also any wire diagrams thanks for the help

Better check the blower motor amps- Last one I did pulled two many amps through the brain box- and melted a hole in the box without blowing the fuse- I recommend an external relay for the blower motor- since Dodge does NOT use a hi speed relay like most other cars. Technical assist actually told me to tell the owner not to set the blower switch on high speed-- yeah right.....do some searches for '04 Rams on this site......

Power up the second ign. (pink/white next to the big red 12v) first. Use a relay and trigger it with ground while running. No issues.
