Installed a 2way Compustar alarm/autostart with CM3000 control module (version 4) on a 94 Infinity Q45 automatic. When i looked inside the module to cut the loop wire for auto transmission,i found no wire, just soldered joints.
Anyways,i went on to try the auto start but it would beep 3 times and park lights flashed 7 times(reservation mode).
Do i need to solder a wire in between these two joints and then cut it to correct this problem or does this version come without the loop wire and i need to try something else.
Well i had an older CM3000 with the wire loop which i installed on this vehicle and it was fine. Now iam stuck with this module and i need to fix this somehow.
How do i correct this problem?Any feed back i get will be very much appreciated. Thanks

Where did you get this unit? If you are an authorized dealer (i don't know why I get the feeling your not) call tech.

What you have does not sound right!... unless they now have seperate brains for manual and auto trans.

I called Staub tech support and was told that this module is only for manual transmission vehicles.
Has anyone tried to solder in wires to make this to work on auto transmission vehicles?
Thanks

No, not really a good solution to this problem. Get the correct brain.
