Does Anyone have any Idea How to make my window go down when the door is open and go back up when the door is closed in or just make it go down once the door open ? (thats the important part). And what relays or interface i will need. Just a diagram would help also. I want to do this for each door and its mating window. Please Help?????? Thank you.

Have a look at the installation manual for the DEI 530T. Link
You could activate the roll-down feature using the individual door triggers. ------------- Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

why would you like that feature? my G35 Coupe does that and i honesty don't like it.

It seals the windows better for high speed driving on cars that don't have a window frame on the door - incidentally stevensti if I'm guessing correctly you only want the windows to roll down half an inch or so? In that case, a 530T is probably not the way to go - what I would suggest is a custom built setup with relays and capacitors...I can probably figure out an exact circuit for you later.

i would like the window to go all the way down when i open that door and up agaain once i close the door. the purpose of this is i have lambo doors on the back doors of the car and when they go vertical the window hits the front doors and could break. so far the only way to avoid this is to open the front door before the rear is open. once the window is rolled down it out the way. i will try the 530t and see what comes from it. if you could draw something up id appreciate it. thanks everyone.

I think ive figured it out useing the 530t and the grounded door pin from each door. i will draw it out and post it asap. if any one comes up with something pleaase post. thanks to everyones input so far.

Well here goes. I drew a digram. please look at it and let me know if this is wrong or will work. keep in mind that with this diagram both windows will go down if the door either open and both go up if either door are closed. it is not what i wanted but i have figured it out using 2 530t's. and will post diagram once drawn up. just wanted the guru's to approve this one. PLEASE LOOK AT IT. I appreciate everyones feed back. (25 mins Later)......... I cant upload the diagram! its too large i i dont know how to shrink it. SORRY. ANY WAY everything is wired the same way as in the guide. EXcept for wire h2/3 ( RED / white) which is the aux. input i wired that to the door pin instead of the alarm as i dont want to use the alarm in this function.this will send the windows down when i open the doors and (this next part im not sure of) I wired h2/4 (orange) to the other side of the pin this should send the windows up when the door closes. please let me know if this would work. thanks all.

I just checked the door pin function on my car. here is how it works. When the pin switch is pushed in all the way (door Closed) the pin reads 12 volts when the pin is out (doors Open) the voltage drops out and i get continuity with the chasis, meaning it bocomes a ground. this may hinder my plans How does this happen and why? Please help. Thank You.

That's because the switch goes to ground to complete the interior light circuit, if you don't understand this you should take your Subie to a dealer and get them to do it for you.

why put the positive then? remember its positive when pushed in and negative when out.

Youre the Man I think this my work. But alittle confused about connecting tehe relay to the 530 with the pin switch. could you post a diagram with just the relay connected to the 530. you said to make the window go down connect the pin switch to the 530 but what wire on the 530 to connect to? Thanks for your help man! it sounds like it will work once i figure out what wire for that last one. Thanks again

The reason your door switch shows 12 volts when pushed in is because your meter's red probe is seeing the voltage at the other end of the wire, which is coming from the BCM or from the interior lights circuit.
Any normal (-) door trigger vehicle will read the same - you can use the door pin wires directly to trigger the 530 if you so desire.

Well Heres That diahram Using the door Pin as the activator Switch. This is with out using the Relay as mentioned by jmsounds. i will drwa up another diagram and post it. thnaks all please note that the yellow wire is actually the white (2/2 to down switch 1) and all wires are as is on the 530 and the grey (2/5) is not being used in this diagram. Is it correct?????????????

Here is that diagram using the relay that was recomended I think this may work better and i dont have to F with the door pin too much. I hope you guys looked at it and approve . I will wire this into the car as soon as i get the dei530T delivered to me. and let you all know how it works. Thanks Guys you,re all pros and you all were VERY Helpfull with this issue. im am not closeing this post yet thought. not until i post my results! maybe a video as well.
