I wouldn't say that I don't know anything about alarms and electronic components, but I don't know much. I recently had my car repoed and they pulled some wires from my alarm. My guess is so it would stop chirping while they were taking it. Now I have a pink wire sitting there with no place to go and I'm pretty sure it's shorting out my battery. I have the Python equivalent of the Viper 3002 alarm system installed on my 2003 Pontiac Grand Am GT. (I don't know what it's called since I can't seem to find any info on it anywhere.) Here's a link to what the remote looks like, though.

Does anyone know what that pink wire could possibly go to?

Hanging from where? the car.... the alarm....?

If it's hanging there, and NOT connected to anything.....chances are it's not draining your battery!

It looks to me like it's hanging from right below the fuse box. Gimme a sec and I'll take a picture of it for you. :)
