I have installed on my 2001 crown victoria a python 1090 alarm and remote start setup. My remote went completely out. Here is my questions:

are all the wiring the same across all models of dei with the same features? i just want to swap brains and remotes, if possible.

does anyone know of any compatible remotes that can work with this alarm?

The answer to your first question is a qualified yes, it has to be an equivalent Viper/Clifford model of the same year. There has been an issue in the UK with the LCD remotes, the tuning crystal fails.
