Hey, I found this alarm in a parts car I bought, and decided to install it in my car. After I got a new remote from Alpine, I switched the alarm over to my car, and it appears to be working perfectly.

HOWEVER, I can not for the life of me figure out the programming sequence for my new remote.... so while the alarm works, it does not talk with the remote. Any ideas, or does anyone have a user manual/install manual ?

I have tried the SEC100/150, and SEC-8028 programing procedure but they don't work.... thanks in advance !

Joe

Hey Joe I have Alpine 8040  and just looked at mine to refresh my memmory but I think the answer your looking for is probably within the remote. Programming features for the security system are internal on my unit and as for the remote the dips are within the remote. Maybe that might work in your case that you simply match the dip position in your old remote. I had a paper on programming instructions but I can't remember which vehicle it in or I would have to look through a heap of saved reference material on one computer. Just a thought hope that helps!
