99 accent tachometer?

where is the damn ignition coil? what does it look's like? What color is the wire? different Website doesn't says the same color

I've tryed few website recommended tachometer wire and nothing ever worked. I even check with my dmm and i never got anything near 6 volt while iddle.

Could somebody help me to find that wire? I'm so confused

Under the drivers side dash, in the kick area find a pretty good sized blue plug. There will be a white wire. near a yellow, and a FAT black one.   This is tach. 4 cyl. reading.

The tach wire should read anywhere between 1V and 6V AC.  It might not go as high as 6V but as long as you're between those two, you should be OK.  Make sure you turn you're DMM to Volts AC, as reading it DC won't do anything for you.

And they also say i need to connect one wire to the brake + witch is over the brake pedal and it's green.  But there is two green wire coming off the pedal switch. Does it matter?

try testing them with your multi meter

I check those wire today and haven't found a white wire within the "pretty good size blue plug". I saw a big black wire though coming into it though. So what i'm i suppose to do? I took picture, i'll try to post them later

could somebody help me? i'm going insane
