Hello All,

I bought a combo kit for my daughters car a 1996 Geo Prizm. I got the alarm to work fine, but when i connect to the 2 wire harness made for the add on door lock/unlock it moves the actuators up/down is all.

The alarm is a: Astra 4000RS

The door lock kit is a: Giordan Central door locking system V686.

it doesn't specify any additional relays needed. but it isnt working properly, anyone familar with this model?

I have no knowledge of either system but; if your alarm has 2 lock output wires these are most likely to be low current neg. check your install manual. then if your lock kit has a central relay/control unit, you should have 5 wires going from it to the driver's door. 2 will be motor wires probably green and blue, of the other three, 1 wil be black. Ignore the black, the other two wires, ground each in turn, this should lock/unlock the dors, connect alarm wires to these two.
