I'm trying to install the Avistart 4400 in my crv, I'm confused on where to hook up the WHITE/ blue remote start wire(from brain) and two wires from relays. This unit came with five relays. four of them are connected together with the following wires purple #30(to starter side),purple #85(from brain), orange #85(from brain), orange #30(to accessory), 2 reds(12v+)#86(from brain) and #87(12v from batt), pink #30(to ign.), pink #85(from brain), and pink/white #30(to 2nd ign.) all with jumper wires. The fifth relay has green #30(key side starter), orange #85(from brain), black #87a(to ?) and, a yellow #86(to ?). I belive the four relays connected together are remote start and the single relay is starter kill. Every thing else is connected to their respectful spots. I would like also to hook up the relay for the trunk release, How do I do that?

You are correct in what you believe, the fifth is the starter kill, aux out RED / white to relay 85, 12v+ 15amp fuse to 86 and 87, 30 to WHITE/ yellow * trunk release.

* That's the colour on UK cars.

If it is an Avital, it will have the same color code as all DEI products. The WHITE/ blue is a (-) trigger input to start if you wanted something else to trigger it to start. We don't hook up this wire to anything at our shop.
The separate relay for starter kill is optional. It is good if you want an anti-grind feature, while running on remote start it will prevent grinding of starter if the key is turned in ignition.
You can hook it up if you wish. The green will go to the key side of cut wire, black towards starter side, yellow to 12v ignition or hooked to the same wire as green.

The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

thanks alot, Ok I did all of that but now it won't remote start, diagnostics states either hood pin or brake shutdown malfunctioning. I tested all connections, fuses, relays, and they work fine, only thing is that during alarming going off the starter kill not working. did i miss something.
