Hi folks, newb here. Even thought Im have many years of electronic experience this alarm install is confusing me a bit. I  have a few specific questions:

1) Is listing a connection (H2/1) for proggresive locks, what are they??

2) The overrride switch on H3/1 is to override the remoter starter capability ?, Can this switch not be used and just ground this wire ??

3) Whats channel 6 normally used for ??

4) I need verification for the following (key switch interface connector) due to differents charts giving me different colors or directions:

Purple (starter output):

Green (starter input):

Pink (ign output):

I've seen from having to connect two wires to purple to needing relays in order to use them. Very confusing... I've been searching the last two days with little help in the already mentioned areas. I will appreciate any assistance. Thanks

1) Is listing a connection (H2/1) for proggresive locks, what are they??

- These simulate the way most OEM unlock works: first press unlocks driver's door, second press within 5 seconds unlocks the rest of the doors.

2) The overrride switch on H3/1 is to override the remoter starter capability ?, Can this switch not be used and just ground this wire ??

-Connect it. You will want to disable remote start capability at some point in time for safety issues.

3) Whats channel 6 normally used for ??

-Whatever you want. It's an auxiliary channel.

4) I need verification for the following (key switch interface connector) due to differents charts giving me different colors or directions:

Purple (starter output): Cut the BLACK/ White starter wire at ignition harness and connect this Purple wire to the motor side.

Green (starter input): Same BLACK/ White starter wire and connect this Green wire to the key side

Pink (ign output): BLACK/ Red at ignition harness.

Use the small Purple (200mA negative) in the auxiliary 4 pin harness to drive a relay through a diode which will be your second start circuit. Drives BLACK/ Green 2nd start wire at ignition harness. BLACK/ Green can also be BLACK / YELLOW - meter it.
