this is a new one for me. I have the word "fuse" spelled out in the display for the odometer. flashes from the word "fuse" to the milage. replaced the blown fuse but still there. If anyone ran into this before let me know.hoping theres a reset or a turn off via diagnostic plug, disconnect batt ect...
Thanks again men.

2001 Dodge Neon. The word "FUSE" flashes in the odometer readout. All fuses are good. Replaced cig lighter fuse. Now I'm looking for the "clear" procedure/reset combination to reset the car.
Any ideas?
PS: already tried to unhook the bat for an hour- no help.

Thanks,
Mark

I'll get back to you next week on this. I'll ask my friend at the local Dodge dealership on how to reset the FUSE error after it's been cleared.

Jeff, Thank you.
I plan to do the same. My dodge dealer stops are next week, end of week. If you get the tip first please let me know.

Hey Mark, talked to the tech at Dodge & they said they never heard of this before. The only thing he can suggest is that you check all the fuses and replace any that need replacing & after you replace it there should be no need to reset. Also, if you need the reset done, it has to be done with the diagnostics scanner.

after talking to a Dodge mec, he gave me a list of things to fix the "fuse" prob- 1.)ODB fuse in fuse box. 2.)trunk light or 3.)dome light.
restart car light will go away.
