689m bypass

I tryed to install a remote start unit into an 03 acura RSX and its manuel. DEI told me to use a 689M but i have never installed it before and tryed to make it work and it wasnt working. I need info on what wire to connect to what to see if i installed it right . I found the emergency wire and the brake pedal but there is a wire that says something like light blue wire remote wire input negative. Do i need to connect the neutral wire of the tranny or something. any help is very useful. Maybe the bypass has to be trained.

the 689m is not the easiest unit to install. If you can rescan me a copy of that manual, i can show you what wires to splice into on the car.

Here's the 689M manual.

The light blue is a negative shutdown input used generally to connect to a motion sensor which would disable the remote start sequence should someone enter the vehicle.

You don't really need this so just disregard (make sure it doesn't touch ground).

Also, make sure that the BLACK/ white of the 689M goes straight to BLACK/ white of remote starter (if using a DEI remote starter) and no where else.

I've done so many, I can do this module with my eyes closed, both hands tied behind my back and wearing a body cast.
