Can some1 tell me the colour of the 12v switched wire that goes to the radio..im am trying to install interior led lighting and it calls for it ..and im not sure which colour it is.

please help.

I don't believe there's any switched power available behind the radio. I'm pretty sure the radio on/off is controlled by the car's computer system.

But you could try the two cigarette lighter sockets down there near the cupholder.

If I remember right, one of those switches on and off with the key, and the other one, you can choose constant or switched by moving a fuse under the hood.

you can try using the ignition wire its more safe

pink/white (+) (20 Gauge) (2 Wires, use either wire)

Location Ingnition switch hardness, Black Plug

I would steer clear of the ignition unless you could verify that the LED lights don't draw serious current through that switched wire - most kits I've seen do, and the ignition switch on that car can't support much extra current draw.

Switched lighter outlet should be fine in that regard.

thanx i wired them the lighter...and they r lonly 4 lil led diodes..dont think they draw much pwer at all...thanks all!!!
