Ok everythings a go now in my CL but theres one more question i have. My Oem alarm goes off when i remote start the vehicle, or open the trunk without first unlocking the doors. If i lock and quickly remote start or pop the trunk the OEM alarm wont go off, but if you wait about a minute or so and try to remote start or pop the trunk the OEM alarm goes off. Why is it doing this? I thought the bypasskit (XK05) was supposed to take car of this (Oem Disarm) Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks

Factory Alarm Disarm - BLUE (-) @ Security Module

Security Module is located underneath The Passenger Seat

I'm going with blue (-) at the driver's door key cylinder or the driver's door module.

The XK05 doesn't disarm the alarm, it just bypasses the immobilizer key system. Newer Accord/TL/CL will disarm with ignition on and a valid key sensed - unfortunately the '98-'02 Accord, '99-'03 TL, and '01-'03 CL weren't that well integrated.

both are valid locations. going to the passenger seat is easier than going through the door.

Can someone confirm this for me, i dont see any security module underneath the passenger seat. I think they may have changed in 2003....the install for 2002 says under seat and 03 says in the door.

I can confirm it is in the door.  That's where I got it in my 02 TL.

I'll verify that as well, noxiousoxide. I've done Accords, TLs, and at least one CL. The wire goes from the driver's door key cylinder to the door module (i.e. the window/mirror switch assembly) and from there the disarm signal is sent via data to the main body controller inside the car.

So does that mean i gotta feed a wire into the door from the alarm brain?  And where is the drivers door key cylinder in the door?

1. Yes, you have to run a wire into the driver's door.  A pain, but the door panel comes off with some ease.

2. Walk up to the car with key in hand. Unlock it without using  the remote. Wires are on the inside of the door at that point.

Behind the glove box is the OE alarm plug that has the ignition sensor wire in it. If this wire is broken with a relay triggered with ground while running, the OE alarm will NOT KNOW

that the vehicle has been started. It's a yellow wire with silver dots. In a green plug. Cut the wire and take the BCM side to pin 30, and the OTHER side to 87a.

12v to 86, and GWR to 85.
