2004-Buick Century, going to install a Prostart CT 3400 TW, from reading, looks like the simplest a best  way would be to get a "date link" ,also read about using a resister but some posts say its not to good in cold weather, cant see that that would affect it but strange things happen, anyway what make and model number of a "data link" bypass would I need for this particular vehicle and a good place to orderone.

go to www.idatalink.com

this is a data bypass and will work best. you limit some connections and save time.
