Happys Mothers Days everyone.

Need some help on a 08 Silverado im working on. Im using the XK01 for the door locks but the data wire they show to use on the OBD plug isnt there. The remote start wasnt bad at all once I stopped munching on chips and salsa :)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sean

Flash it for the correct firmware for that year of truck (GMDL6 I believe) Data wire is green, pin 1 of the ALDL.

blahh. I knew it. For some reason I thought the green wire(pin 1) wasnt correct. I left it in the shop over night and will finish it up in the am.

Just for reference how are you just doing the passlock 3?

The ideal module is either the ADS thing from iData, or the CAN-SL2. Both take care of locks and PK3+ very nicely on the newer GM stuff. Very stable, works extremely well all around.
