Hey guys, i'm trying to add an (aftermarket)actuator to an existing factory keyless entry, and for some reason i just can't comprehend the task.....brain fart or something. Using a 451m relay by the way. I was thinking to hook up the blue and green wires from the 451m to the door lock wires from the civic, grounding the WHITE/ black and BROWN / black, +12 volts to the PURPLE / black, and connecting the blue/black and GREEN/ black to the actuator. Does this sound right!?! I haven't done it yet and would like to be 100% sure before I do. I know it uses a cable driven system but that won't be a problem to incorporate as i have done them before. The reason that i'm doing this is because it just came back from being fixed at a body shop and it looks like they broke the plastic piece that holds it in place. Now it receives more tension in the door, and it looks like it's not receiving enough power to move the lock, and i figured an actuator would provide that needed power. Thanks in advance for any responses!!

Am I missing something here? Why would you want to add a motor to an existing keyless entry?

Sorry, just realised what I was missing, join the green and blue wires of the actuator directly to the notor wires of original motor.
