I am doing a 2008 Chevy Silverado Alarm/Remote  Start combo and am a little confused on a few things.  What is required for hooking up the accessory wire?  Is there a mux connection I have to cut and use relays and resistors, or is this not necessary?  Does the xk06 bypass kit take care of the functionality of that accessory wire activation?  The module does require you to cut an accessory wire at the transponder interface and connect to the bypasskit.  Please let me know.  Everything else seems pretty straight forward.

I strongly recommend using a 1701G by DEI you would need a cuple of resistors however it would do 80% of the install including the pkIII bypass very simple install using this module .

The Fortin or iDatalink modules are a great modules that will bypass and interface with the OEM system without any additional parts. We use the iDatalink for the 07+ trucks with any problems at all.

I finished the install using an xk01 and an xk06.   Everything went smooth until I installed the xk06...  I ended up wiring it into the wrong wires because the plug looked similar to the picture and the wire colors were the same!!  Eventually I figured it out and everything works perfectly now.
