What else do i need? These stupid cobalts have like a electronic demon gremlin. What else do i need. adapter modules ? passlock interface?? please help me out!!!

You don't need a Passlock module to do a security system.....it's only for remote start.

Not wanting to repeat myself, see this.

You have everything in the box to do this car.

If it's got power locks - you'll need a 1500 ohm resistor for them. You'll also need a relay if you want to do driver's priority unlock. You'll need 2 diodes for the door trigger input.

Also, stop freaking out. It's not a life and death situation.

alright thanks alot, any other tips or advice is greatly appriciated. ive done alarms before but these cobalts are just dumb.

That alarm should be easy - you can reach basically every wire at one point on the car(the BCM). Mount the brain behind the radio/HVAC controls out of reach, and you're golden. Not a hard car at all.

yea i know its gonna be a breeze. ive already located all the wires and such.. but its the stupid cobalts single wire lock/unlck system that is tricky. uses resistors relays and such other than that the basic alarm wiring tapping is a breeze cuz just like u said practically every wire is at the bcm
