Whew after a couple of good solid days on this install, I have everything complete. The only thing that I have left to fix is the parking lights. They do not flash when I arm or program the system. On the Autopage 750 there are 2 wires that are for the parking lights. I hooked one up directly to the parking light switch per the instructions then I hooked the other wire up to the relay that goes to the parking lights and still no flash. What's cracklatin with this??

First off the light dont flash when you enter programming mode, only the siren and horn confirm that you are in programming mode. The lights will flash when you exit programming mode though.

Second, What did you do with the parking light wires? The white wire is supposed to go to the parking light wire of the vehicle always. Then there is a red wire that should already be connected to the fused red wire on that same connector that goes to 12v constant on the vehicle. Is that how you have it?

Third, What vehicle? What wire did you grab? Did you test the wire you grabbed to make sure that it shows 12v+ when the parking lights are on?

Ok, I separated the looped and fused red wires. I connected one to the main line of the parking lights and the other to the parking light switch. From what you told me I just need to connect the one from the switch and connect it to a 12 volt constant wire, and leave the other alone. I guess I shouldn't have separated the fused and looped wires since it would have already been connected to a 12 votl constant. Well anyway thanx J. you have helped me out a lot. posted_image

So it worked? did you connect it where it had been previously connected which was after the fuse on the 12v source wire? I know the white wire is fused as well, but I think they had it connected after the fuse to protect the internal relay.
