Click "Vehicle Wiring" in the top menu of this page.

That would be great if it were listed... Why would I be asking if it were?

Can't understand how you could miss it. It's right there on the GMC page. It isn't a consumer vehicle, as I said in the OP, it is the base truck for an RV... It's listed under commercial trucks - light duty.

Would you like to add a keyless or a remote start to your Topkick or are you looking for info on the OEM system? This is a great place to start. GM Upfitter ------------- Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.

I'd be interested in installing the OEM system if one is available, but the truck didn't come with one, and I'm looking to put one in. It has electric locks already, I just need to tap into that system to install a remote. I won't get to see the truck for two weeks, so I was just hoping to find a wiring diagram or install instructions before I get there to save me time and frustration.

The Topkick's use a positive pulse door lock system. You will find a connector in either kick panel which has the lock/unlock wires in it. White is 12 volts + unlock and light blue is 12 volts + lock.

Topkick is a GM truck, literally. Think the Classic, less data. Take down some plastic, and it looks very very familiar inside (little different under the hood, mind you).
Not too bad at all to work on, you can pretty much stand and lean in a little......

Oh, forgot to ask, is there any factory alarm issues I will need to worry about? I'd imagine on a truck like this it would be pretty basic, but you never can tell for certain...

I've not heard of a GM vehicle in the past 15 years with no keyless entry that had a factory alarm...however in the unlikely event you should be able to find a lt. green wire near those lock/unlock wires that will go to (-) when the key is turned in the driver's door to unlock.
