Hey all,

Putting in my Compustar 2wfm900as, and need help with the unlock for the above car (06 corolla). In the installogy wiring, they list blue wht lock (-) and blue yellow (-) unlock at the blue plug in the dkp. I found them in the plug next to it. I metered both via the key and they check out, set the alarm to double pulse and the unlock didn’t do anything. I then checked direct techs and they listed a blue/black (-) In the pass kick, I tagged that and it only unlocks with a door open, if I close them it doesn’t work. Suggestions?

Thanks so much!

It is blue / YELLOW (–) but it's in the white plug (10 pin plug) pretty high up in drivers kick.

Yes, blue yellow for unlock. If the car has factory keyless the first pulse should ulock the drivers door and second pulse the rest. If it doesn't have factory keyless the first pulse will do nothing and the second unlock all. You can also use the blue wire in the samw plug for unlock with a single pulse but will have a side affect, if you lock the doors with the switch before you close it it will only unlock with the key.

Hey all,

First of all, I appreciate all the help and suggestions. Here is a quick update. The blue / YELLOW in the DKP next to the green lock wire (my memory was wrong) is indeed the unlock. PLUS:

Well, lets all say it now, "DUUUUUHHHHHHH CHRIIIISSSSSSS"

I am embarrassed. Simple installer error.

I had THOUGHT I programmed the double pulse. I didn't. Ray from Compustar (he rocks) ran around in circles for me and then it dawned on me. On the OP-500 I only hit write, rather than held it. simply making a preset file on it rather than actually changing the options on the brain. I'm flabbergasted at myself. The result: factory alarm never disarming with the first pulse then doors unlocking on the 2nd. That's why it would unlock when the doors were open (alarm was disarmed) or when vehicle was remote started (the bypass hits the keysense wire also disarming the alarm)

For the record: HOLD the write button when using the OP-500, and RTFM...had I done that I would have known to hold the button.

Sorrrrrry! <blushes with stupidity>
