I am putting in a viper 160 xvl on a new tundra  and was wondering if anyone has any hints for me and i looked at the wireing diagram for it but can t seem to find the neutral safety switch wire in the diagram  does any one know who might have a visual aid diagrams the one with wire specs and pics or a good web program for it thanks on advance

that car's powertrain is mostly data controlled...to find the true neutral safety u will need to probably go to the side of the car's transmission......  i found that out tryin to install a cruise kit on one of those trucks... i had to go under the car to even get speed sense...odds are...u may have to do the same...

That neutral safety wire doesn't need to be connected to any wire on the vehicle.
It needs to see ground in order to enable remote start, so it can be wired either through the toggle switch supplied with the Viper to ground, or directly to ground if you don't care about having a switch to disable the R/S.

If the truck is an auto - neutral safety is built into the switch on the transmission(try putting it in drive and turning the key to crank - it won't crank at all).

If the truck is a manual - you'll need to get a 689M and we can't post any way around it.
