I have to install daytime running lights (dtrl) on a US model 2000 Mitsubishi Galant.I dont want to use a dtrl module but instead use a relay thru ignition to low beam head lights.
I need to know the best way how to wire up a relay and if possible the wire color for low beam headlights.

It might be simpler than you think, I have a 2000 Uk spec Galant and it uses grounded leads at the switch, in other words a grounded feed will give you low beams.
