im having problems installing a remote start alarm on a 94 sedan de ville i bypassed the factory imobilizer with the resister  i hooked up factory disarm wire still wont start..      any ideas???????? even if i send a positive pulse to the starter wire it wont turn over all ignitions are hooked up

Troubleshoot step by step. When you say it doesn't start. Do you mean it doesn't crank? Or, does it cranks but won't fire up?

If it cranks but doesn't fire up, disconnect whatever you did for VATS bypass, re-connect VATS wires as original, slide key into barrel and try to remote start. Does it start? If yes your bypass is done wrong or wrong r-value.

If car doesn't crank with above setup, test all wires at ignition barrel for undocumented ignition wire which might need to be connected. I can't remember which model but there was one that shared the platform with a Buick and had a Purple or Green which needed to be connected but wasn't in databases.
