2004 F350 with Code Alarm CA671- no factory alarm. Install went fine except for 1 issue: The doors wont unlock without pressing unlock twice. The CA671 is programmed for double pulse. When testing the unlock wires directly ( disconnected from the car), no initial pulse on unlock, but a double pulse on the second unlock. I get the same results from the 2nd stage unlock wire. I changed the brain out and the same thing.

Its got to be something I did. Ford unlock wire- black and white. Alarm- blue. It will unlock fine after the second press, so I'm fairly sure its the correct unlock wire.

Suggestions?

Lock is WHITE/ red   unlock is blk/white. Negative pulse, unless the truck was NOT equipped with keyless, then it's rev. polarity.

They are found in the door boot.

Thanks for the wire colors, I appreciate it. They are the ones Im using.

I still think it may be an issue with the alarm programming- any ideas?

Here's the deal, Disconnect the manual arm wire from the lock motor wire in the truck

I'm sure you'll notice the problem is gone. After you confirm that this is the problem

use a relay to isolate it from the brain so the brain will only see the manual arm pulse when needed

I know it sounds crazy but it will work

Thanks
