Hello, what a fantastic forum!

I have a 1998 4Runner which is fitted with a Fujitsu Ten RS3000 VIP alarm and wondered if the DEI 530T is compatible with this system? I looked at the their website and they don't even seem to list this product anymore. Futheremore they don't give out info unless you are a dealer.

Has anyone added this module to a Toyota with this alarm?

Cheers

Gordon

I haven't purchased it as yet because i wanted to be sure it would work! Are these instructions available for download and do they specifically mention the Toyota alarm?

You're looking for a circuit that goes neg and stays there whilst the alarm is on, you would be better off with a 529t since you won't be able to use its extra facilities.

Thanks for info, i'll look into the 529t.

Also, this is a long shot!

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the RS3000? Does it exist? This question is asked so many times all over the internet, and nobody seems to have one. I emailed Fujitsu Ten a couple of weeks ago but they didn't reply.

I would suggest you contact a Toyota dealership about this alarm, since it was almost certainly installed there. They may have wiring diagrams around.

Fujitsu Ten is both a Japanese OEM supplier and an aftermarket manufacturer(Eclipse and other brands)...but the aftermarket brands have distinctive brands/logos, etc.
