I am installing a Viper 5701 and I am having problems with the remote start. I have the XK05 bypass with firmware: PKT2 and I have no idea how to install this (besides the ignition (blue wire), 12v constant (red wire), and the ground (black wire).

It has the following wires that I am not sure where to hook up:

Brown - Ground when running

Green - Security light (vehicle)

Violet/White - Data IMI

Violet - Data IMI

Orange - Data IMO

This bypass looks quite complicated, does anyone suggest using the bypass with the extra key (556u isn't it?)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated... THANKS

Pkt2 is Toyota firmware. You need to have the bypass flashed with Honda firmware before it will work. I think pkh3 is the latest one that will work on that vehicle. Once you get that, and install manual to install it on a Honda, it should be a snap. It will tell you the wire colors and locations.

i think you have the wrong firmware,i believe it should be the pkh3, the one you have is for toyota/lexus. and you would wire that one as follows it is a white connector in vehicle
brown wire = remote start alarm shutdown
blue wire and pink wire(splice together) = find the yellow/black wire in car and cut attach these wires to the side going to the ecm
pink/white wire = goes to the other side of the yellow/black wire you just cut(this goes to the ignitionswitch
violet wire = attach to the RED / blue
red wire = 12v constant
black wire = chassis ground or you can spile into the BROWN / yellow wire

Yeah on the instructions it says Toyota/Lexus. How do I go about changing the firmware? Do I have to buy a new bypass with the Honda firmware?

so on the key hole itself, its the white plug, and what color wire do I cut?

Just find a local shop that uses that brand of bypass, and they should be able to flash it for you. yellow/black is the wire that needs to be cut.
