I havn't been able to find a remote starter with the right features I need, hopefully somebody knows one..

All the functionality that I need it to have is start engine, turn off engine, lock doors and unlock doors. I'm going to be gutting the steering wheel lock and I want to be able to just use the remote, but almost all the systems I'm finding turn off when the brakes are applied, etc.

I need this exact functionality for a project I'm working on, any help here?

Thanks guys

The reason they shut off when the brake pedal is depressed is to keep someone from jumping into your car and driving off.  You do not need to connect the brake wire, the only problem then would be the 10 minute time out feature.

Security won't be an issue with the project I'm using it for. Are there any starters that can be reprogrammed or have the timer disabled?

I have no idea if anyone makes a unit that does not time out.

How do you want to be able to shut it down? Only by remote?

Apparently......

Then again, if he sets up some form of latching relays for ign and accy, may be ok. As long as he doesn't have issues with long term reliability on the relays.
