I have a 2008 chevrolet silverado 1500ls I am Installing a hornet 563t alarm/remote start with a DE 1701g bypass module. My question is do i still have to wire in relays with this remote start??  or  should i stick with the xk01/xk06 configuration??

Use the XK modules or the iDatalink modules and no need for resistors or relays.

use I data link module for that truck, ADS-DLSL-GM, XK01-xk06 has had issues with lock up on theft system, forget relays and resitors.

It appears that all wires are terminated correctly, and the remote start goes through all the steps except cranking over, green flashing light on the ads-dl when remote start is initiated, receiving signal from the RS starter line, and now im just going in circles!! Have you seen this in the past???

I have seen this B4, it is a problem with the ADS-DLSL-GM, double check all your wire connections, then follow the rest procedure and try to program again. Follow the instructions very closly, from there you should be fine.
