I recently installed a Clifford RSX3.5 with a 1700g in my '03 Silverado and all works well.  Up until installing this system, the accessory circuit that powers the power windows and radio would stay on for 10 minutes or until a door was opened.  Since installing the alarm, the accessory curcuit shuts down immediately as the key is turned off when stopping the engine.  Is this normal?  I thought maybe it was related to the ignition controlled domelight but I have programmed the alarm not to turn on the domelight upon ignition shutdown and there is no change.  Is there a way to have the components described and maintain the truck's timed accessory circuit?  Thanks in advance for any input.

I am not familiar with the 1700G... is that a 1 wire hook up thru the OBD2 ? How did you "attempt" the dome light supervision? (where did you connect on the truck)

Starter kill?

Yes, the 1700g allows one wire hookup through OBD2.  Dome light connection is at the BCM,  gray/black, black plug, pin E.  The alarm's starter kill is being used and is working properly.

That grey black at the ecm is your problem, it is the drivers door pin (-) neg pulse on that shut down the RAP Module (Retained accessory power ) Dome sensor wire is actually at headlamp swith Blue / white (-)

I disconnected my connection from the 1700g(gray/black +dome input) from the BCM,  gray/black, black plug, pin E.  Retained accessory power is still lost.  Upon double checking the gray/black, black plug, pin E,  I have verified that it is, in fact, the + dome wire, not the driver's door pin (-).  When I disconnect the violet/black wire from the 1700g where it connects to the OBD2 connector under the dash, the retained accessory power works as it did prior to the installation of the alarm system.  I reconnected this wire and searched a little further.  I located the connection of the key sense output of the 1700g(violet/black) to the key sense wire of the truck(light green).  When I disconnected this wire and turned the key on/off with the door closed, the accesory power was retained.   After discovering this, I decided to install an extra relay that only allows the Key Sense output(violet/black) from the 1700g to connect to the key sense wire in the truck(light green) when the remote start is activated.  I connected a (-) status output from the remote start to 85, 12v to 86, key sense of truck(light green) to 30 and key sense output of 1700g(violet/black) to 87.  Remote start works as it should and my RAP(retained accessory power) works as it used to, allowing the accessory to stay energized for 10 minutes or until a door is opened, whichever comes first.
