im looking to get a car alarm for my car, i dont really know anything about them, like what features are best, im not looking to spend more than $150, with installation, not planning on installing it myself. like i said it would go into a 2000 hyundai sonata please help, thanks ------------- -Vic

In my area, 150 clams won't get you many features. (keyless, starter disable, trunk pop, hood and trunk pin's) It will get you a basic alarm....shock sensor, and door pins. -------------

i dont really want trunk pop, im going to have the thing full of subs anyways, and what are hood trunk and door pins? and what does starter disable do? what do you think i would need to spend to get those things, like a minimum price kind of quote ------------- -Vic

$350 would get you a full featured alarm completely installed and backed up with a lifetime warranty from me...compustar pro 1 way alarm...3000 ft of range shock sensor hood pin all doors monitored trunk monitored two remotes yadayadayada

As snotdobbs tried to explain, features cost money. You realistically will spend 250/350, depending on the unit your local shops sell.

That means the alarm would monitor the hood, trunk, and doors, and trigger if they were opened.
