I am attempting to install a Galaxy 5000 RS in my Ford F150 1997 I followed the instructions but the alrm does not work. Does not lock my doors and does not start the engine. Few wires I had problems finding . Factory system re arm wire (-) and door lock Instructions are a bit confusing, I so many wires need a constan 12V I guess they can be bundled together and hooked to the +12V from battery. Also I had trouble finding dark green wire on by driver's side kick panel. Can someone advise ? thanks.

If you are using a DMM it shouldn't be a problem fining the 12v supply. There are 2.  yellow, and GREEN/ purple. on the ign. harness.

Would someone with any experience know which of these wires does not need to be connected ?

I know that the Gray one for trunk release and the Blue and Yellow for Glow plugs do not need to be connected.

This is for my 1997 Ford F150 V8 4.6 4x4 automatic.

Hey KTM, why would anyone use a DMM, when they can just come here and let us find the wires for them.   Those DMM things are SO pre-internet.

I know.    And reading....? Way to hard

Mig, match the in's and out's from the brain to the appropriate wires at the truck.  On the brain, an input "receives" and output "gives"

Test, and test again, then make your connection.
