Ive installed autopage AC78 on a 2002 Avalanche so far ive only done the front windows. When i go and arm the suv the driver's window go's all the way up but the passenger window only go's half way. i have all four pin swiches on high. How can i make the passenger window to go all the way up?

Ive also bought omega au-93-4, has any body worked with this module or the ac78 and have the same problem. And how good is any of this two modules. Thank you.

on some of the other threads about window module problems...the first thing asked is what size wire you using for power to the modules!!

ive got it pretty close to the ign so im using the same wire from the module to the ign constant 12v source. Is this a good thing or should i run a power wire to the battery?

What gauge is it?   The problems that other people were having was due to the fact that their power and ground wires were not large enough to handle the current draw that the windows require!

Yes...1) run you power wire directly to the battery and fuse properly! (10 ga. or 8 ga. should be sufficient)

2)  DO NOT ground the module in the door!  Run your ground wire through the door jam and ground it in it's respective kick panel.

I've seen these things do some weird things when they are powered with to small a gauge wire and not grounded INSIDE the vehicle.

Im using 12 gauge from the module to the ing 12volt contant. The ground is also 12 gauge and grounded in the kick panel.

What i did was i run four wires 12 gauge to the door window switch driver side and 12 gauge to the passenger door window switch.

So if i run 8 gauge to the battery should i do the same to the ground? Also i wanna do the rear windows will 8 gauge do or should i go bigger?

yup....keep  your ground and power wires the same gauge.

and 8 ga. should do fine for all windows!  Also....i'm sure you've done this but make sure you remove any paint and give yourself as good a ground as possible.

Hows it going everybody,

Well im still having trouble with the Autopage AC-78. It only rolls one window all the way up and the second window half way. The way i got it connected is, i ran 8 gauge power wire from the battery to the kick panel. Thats were i have the module. And its fused 30a. About 5" from the battery. The module also has a 20a fuse before getting to the unit. Got ground i scrape off some paint of the kick panel and got my ground there. As for windows i ran one 12 gauge speaker wire through the door for the roll up wire from the switch. "I ONLY WHANT THE WINDOWS TO GO UP AND NOT ACTIVATE FROM ANY AUX CHANNELS". The two purple wire are grounded seprate. i go it set for a (type A) For the passenger side i ran speaker wire 12 gauge to the passenger door window switch. The orenge wire from the module is connected to the autopage alarm/rs 727 Arm ire. And well so far thats all it does. Does any body know if its really a type A, Ive done the test just to double check. Does any body have any ideas why it does that.
