I purchased a 2004 Saturn that someone had installed the Automate AM2 remote locking system on but I did not get any instructions whatsoever with it.

I was able to obtain the user instructions from the DEI site but would like to modify the programming slightly to beep horn when armed  since I am hard of hearing and cannot always hear the door locks click. I know the horn is controlled since it will sound when panic button is depressed.

Any help here would be appreciated.

There doesn't seem to be a manual for the AM2 on this site - Valet 712 has one uploaded but it's missing pages 10-11 which have the relevant info. 12volters?

is there an "aux" button on the remote?  If there is try pushing that first then the lock button right after.  I installed a viper (DEI) keyless system in my mom's car, and one in my dads car, and they both work that way.  The horn is only meant to work with the panic feature, but if you hit lock/unlock right after the aux button, it works that way too!  kind of sucks that you have to do it that way though.
