i installed a python 571 xp in my wifes corolla about a year ago with everything working, except for a bad actuator in the driver rear door. recently it has been acting up, usually the driver front door wont unlock or lock with the alarm, only the passenger doors. and occationally no locks will work. however all the locks (except bad driver rear) work fine with the door lock switches in the car. any ideas?

just a crap shoot, but if you got the door lock wires in the kick panel maybe there is corrosion from moisture which would cause the viper keyless to not work but the oem stuff to remain working

I had the same problem on a 97 corolla. The RR door would unlock with alarm but dint look so I bought a door lock actuator and now it works great. Locks and unlocks with alarm no problem.
