Have a older Yukon in getting the r/s working again. Got everything going but can't seem to get the LED light on the transmitter to respond to anything. It stays on solid. It's a 2 button remote. Door locks with button I and nothing on button II that I can tell. Both buttons to start. What can I do to get this LED to shut off and work properly?

Sounds like it's in valet mode, turn the ignition ON, then OFF, then press and release the valet pushbutton, and the LED should go out.   If the systemids new enough, you can.....  with the drivers door OPEN, press button ONE, then button TWO then button ONE again, and the LED should go out. Let us know if you still have a problem.  Mark.

i have never seen the light on the remote stay on in valet mode, only the LED on the dash... sounds like it might be a bum remote....
