Its a 2006 Suburu Impreza which was bought from Insurance because of water damage.

History

The ECU was changed and the car is not starting, Carried out a diagnostic test and the results are listed here.

Will start if Fuel is added to the intake, TACH will not work

Fuel pump is not working, neither is the Injectors.

The Key can be used to lock and unlock the car.

I am of the opinion that there is some unit the immobilizes the Car. The Local dealer on the Island is of very little help as they cannot solve the problem. Sourced the computer from another dealer outside of the country.

I got the replaced ECU from the local dealer but its damage.

Is there any way I can Bypass the Immobilizer Circuit, if not can I use an after market unit to get this car rolling again?

Thanks for your response

Regards

Lindsley

If you don't have the original key for the cylinder and anti theft, then your out of luck unless you want to get a new key cut and programmed at the Subaru dealership by giving them your VIN. If the ECM/BCM was damaged, you also may have damage to your anti theft module as well causing your no start problem.

Thanks for the response.

I have the original keys and everything else is stock. All that was changed was the ECU (the control brain)as it got damage. Water remained in there and messed up some of the components.
