I can't find the starter wires, I found the ignition harness from where the key goes into the ign. But it doesn't have the wire colors I need for starter and second starter. The car uses a new type of key that isn't a key but like a square shaped thing that goes in the ign. Any ideas where the starter wire would be at? Its an 08 dodge charger cop car.  Also how do I wire up all the relays with the resistors for like door lock, unlock, door trigger, parking lights, trunk trigger and release. Thanks

You need to get a special bypass module for this vehicle because it uses the Mercedes style key and the wires that you need to access are in the ignition barrel, but are very small guage wires. You will need to get the iDatalink module and their website has a very good description on the wiring and what needs to be done witht he OEM switch on order to bypass the system properly.

I'm not putting in a remote start. I'm just putting in a viper 350h alarm. I need the starter wire for the starter kill feature. So no bypass needed. Just need the wires. I already know they are small gauge wires. I just can't find the starter wires. I found everything else at the ignition harness..just need to know where that ign. barrel is at, so I can cut the starter wire.

Ok figured it out, found a different colored wire in the ignition harness for - starter wire. I just connected the ground when armed wire..and instant starter kill.

sorry to say this but i don't think that is a good idea

unless your interupting the starter wire under the hood

your probably scewing with a wire that will lead to problems

there is no starter wire from the ignition in that car

The starter wire should be interrupted between the PCM and the starter solenoid. Also when doing R/S, no relays are needed to power ignition wires at the cylinder. I believe an xpresskit sk06 has to be soldered to the board inside the ignition switch and programmed with the correct firmware.
