I am planning to install a Python 872 LE with remote start on a 2003 Nissan 350z. I also purchased the xpress interface kit xk07 and xk02 from Crutchfield. These units are supposed to allow integration with the factory system to bypass the immobilizer without using an extra key and to work the door locks, trunk release and window roll-up from the alarm remote. Has anyone had experience with a similar install?......difficulty level? Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.
I pu t one on a '07 Accord last week. Relatively simple as far as the unit goes. The RED / black went to 12v, and the pink/black was not hooked up. (both thicker AWG wires from the 872)
Got everything hooked up and was getting an error feedback on the remote, turns out I had to ground the hoodpin wire for some reason and it worked like a charm after that.

Thanks for the info. The immobilizer and door lock interfaces should arrive by Monday and I'll start the install by Wednesday. Do I understand you correctly that once the xk07 and xk02 interface is plugged into the factory harness, then I will only have to hook up the red / black to 12v to complete the install?

Thats not what I meant, sorry for the confusion. I was telling you that because these are new wires in the primary harness, ones that were not in any of the older units. The instructions are un-clear as what to do with with them

...Well when I get all the parts and start the project, I may be calling on your expertise.....thanks again
